RACE-APPROVED • 1.5 HOUR CE COURSE

Pet Perception & Communication

and How it Differs from Humans

Course Overview

The objective of this CE program is to educate veterinarians, veterinary technicians, practice managers and other veterinary healthcare team members on the relationship between animal behaviors and the Human-Animal Bond (HAB) – and more importantly – the differences between how pets and humans perceive and communicate and its relevance to behavior management.

After completing the course, participants will have a better understanding and increased awareness of pet perception and communication differences and will be able to more properly assess what a pet with perceived behavior problems, whether at home or in the clinic, might be feeling and communicating.

Armed with this information, participants will be more equipped to begin taking actionable steps in their clinic to foster a better patient experience and become stewards of positive HAB’s.
