Malassezia Dermatitis:

But What About the Azole?

0.5 Hour RACE-Approved CE Course

Malassezia dermatitis is a common condition detected in our canine and feline patients. Chronic yeast infections can be frustrating for both the veterinarian and the client. During this 45-minute lecture, board-certified veterinary dermatologist Dr. Melissa Hall will review Malassezia dermatitis and the benefits of topical therapy to manage these cases.

Dr. Melissa Hall has been exploring her passion for pet medicine for as long as she can remember. Growing up as a Los Angeles native, Dr. Hall gave as much of her time as she was able to the Los Angeles Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the Equestrian Center and many other animal-focused local groups. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego prior to achieving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Hall’s veterinary studies led her to a passion for veterinary dermatology that carried her through a 3-year residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic in Southern California.
